Bug: parts of the are not redrawn
Got the 1.2.65 driver working on Gentoo. But there is a bug. Sometimes (especially on moving / maximizing / minimizing / opening new windows) parts of the screen are not redrawn, so that the previous screen content is still visible in this areas. (By moving windows around I can paint on the screen like in former times with Windows XP.)
dmesg produces the following error when this happens: [ 996.031687] evdi: [W] collapse_dirty_rects:102 Not enough space for clip rects! Rects will be collapsed [ 996.049555] evdi: [W] collapse_dirty_rects:102 Not enough space for clip rects! Rects will be collapsed [ 996.049562] evdi: [W] collapse_dirty_rects:102 Not enough space for clip rects! Rects will be collapsed [ 996.049566] evdi: [W] collapse_dirty_rects:102 Not enough space for clip rects! Rects will be collapsed ... Has anyone an idea how to fix that? thanks P.S.: Sorry for the strange title. I wanted to write "parts of the screen are not redrawn". I'm not able to edit it anymore. :/ Last edited by thomasmeier; 01-20-2017 at 12:38 PM. |

We have reproduced a similar problem in-house and already have a fix that we will include in the updated Ubuntu driver release.
Thanks, Michal |

I have the same issue on Kubuntu 16.04.1 LTS and it is pretty annoying. Is there already a release date for the update?
