Problem with Chrome and VStudio
Hello,
I have a usb3-to-4k adapter containing the DL-5500 chipset connected to my laptop with AMD Radeon HD 6650M, and running 4k@30Hz in W7. This works somewhat, however I get severe lag and ugly behavior when using Chrome or VStudio. I'm guessing it's an hardware acceleration issue. How do I fix it? PS. I think I run the latest drivers. |

We recommend the AMD 7xxx graphics cards as a minimum for productivity on 4K:

Was able to work around this issue by disabling hardware acceleration for Chrome and VStudio 2013.
Had a similar problem with Google Earth, but switching rendering to OpenGL resolved the matter. Edit: I actually don't have any performance issues on my feeble hardware, graphics acceleration aside. Last edited by DL-5500; 02-03-2015 at 10:41 PM. |
