Product limitation
Dear DisplayLink support,
I'm an user of Dell D3100 docking station with DisplayLink technology and the newest 8.4 driver. I bought it because I believed that it let me to use external monitor with my brand new Dell XPS 9360. I'm not going to complain about well known issue which is poor video performance, but if high-end i7/16GB ultrabook cannot properly handle 720p60 or 1080p30 youtube video (dropped frames ~30%) on 2nd screen then you should officially inform about such limitation. For me that docking station is useless. Display ports are not working correctly. The docking station does not replicate those ports because they do not work as native ones. |
