Default Inquiries Concerning DisplayLink Equipment

I have some inquiries about the functionality of DisplayLink devices. In particular, what resources are used to power the screen? Can I take control of these resources in any way?

Regarding the resources used by a DisplayLink driver software, I'm searching for a simple response. Is it dependent on the GPU, CPU, or both? To what extent is this usage intensive? My search has only produced ambiguous results, which has increased my level of uncertainty.

Additionally, while a DisplayLink display is being used, which Microsoft Windows processes or services are running?

Is it possible to instruct the driver software to use the integrated graphics on my CPU, which is not in use at the moment? If it's feasible, it would be great to free up more resources for my dedicated GPU.
