Default Decrypt the log files

Hello,

How to read the logs stored in "C:\Program Files\DisplayLink Core Software\Debug"?

When I open them, they look encrypted.

Thanks,

Tristan

That is correct. The log files from our driver are purposefully encrypted to protect the information inside them.

Default Where can I get the key to decrypt the log files

Hey there,

I am wondering from whom you wish to protect the log entries. It is actually necessary for your users to get access to the log entries in order to use your product. I don't really understand from which entity you have to protect log information. Because log files are stored locally on your users' machines, I assert that you protect these infos from your users; why are you doing so, and where can I get a key to access the logs? I have to debug my DisplayLink setup.

Cheers,
Christian

I just registered to say that this is extremely frustrating. How do you expect anyone to debug your software when you encrypt the logs?
