Default WL-UG69PD2 : Ethernet fail

We have recently purchased 2x WL-UG69PD2 docking stations,
( www.wavlink.com/en_us/product/WL-UG69PD2.html )

and the Ethernet port is not functioning on either unit, so obviously a driver and not hardware problem.

I have installed Display Driver from :

The Power, Display PassThough USB-C > HDMI & USB-3 ports all work fine, but no Ethernet link LEDS.

There is no Link Act or Link Speed, LED indication on the port at all when a plugged into a known working cable>switch at the other end of cable. ( Ethernet works when plugged in directly to Notebook, but not docking station)

NB : HP ProBook 470G5 Win10 with latest updates installed attached via USB-C to WL-UG692PD2 dock, connected to an known working 1Gbps port on a TP-Link TL-SG1008D desktop unmanaged switch)

Upon looking in Device manager for the :
- DisplayLink Network Adapter (NCM)
I see the following erroe next to teh "!" error icon:
" Windows is still setting up the class configuration for this device. (Code 56)"

Any pointers to look at ? updated driver to install ? config I do to do ?

TIA,
Darren

Hi

I think this could be due to security software blocking the Ethernet adapter installation. There is an MS thread on this here:
