Default Windows 10 / Monztor 10" USB not detected

Hello - i have upgraded to Windows 10 and am unable to have my MiMo iMO Monztor S10 USB touchscreen recognized with displaylink. The unit worked fine prior to update and continues to work on other laptops.

Windows 10 OS: 14393.321
DisplayLink: 8.0.762.0
AMD 6970 Catalyst: 8.01.01.1500
Direct3D Version: 9.14.10.01128
OpenGL Version: 6.14.10.13399

Device Manager: Monstor S10 showing under Display adapters.
Hardware ID: two IDs showing... USB\VID_17E9&PID_0288 and USB\VID_17E9&PID_0288&REV_?002

Touch keyboard is showing in system tray but monitor is not displaying in display settings. I currently have two monitors connected and both are detected/extended. The USB monitor would be my third... unable to detect.

Please advise if there is any more info needed.

Thanks!

Have I provided enough information to receive any additional direction? Please let me know if I am missing anything in the report above.

Hello Kirk,

I believe MiMO has added an auto-install on this product affecting compatibility with the Windows 10 standard USB driver.

Kind regards,
Alban

Hello Kirk,
We do not know of a way round this with the Windows USB (WUDF) driver, unfortunately.
The device stays in mass storage configuration as opposed to be in DisplayLink video configuration so the DisplayLink video driver is associated but not working.
On previous versions of Windows 10, we use a custom USB driver which allows switching the USB configuration from whatever else was programmed by the device manufacturer.
Kind regards,
Alban
