I am running El Capitan GM on a 2013 Macbook Air with a Cable Matters USB3 DV-I adapter. Has not worked since installing the first beta. Hopefully a new driver will be released soon.

Is there any newer beta available to try with these latest GM builds of El Cap?

A few people have reported the latest DL working on the 10.11 GM builds.

Of course a few others have said it doesn't work.

I'll be installing the GM on a flash drive this weekend to test myself as I'd like to get onto 10.11 and Xcode 7 sooner rather than later...

I'm starting to wonder if the divide between works and doesn't work is whether people are using HDMI or DVI connections.

I'm using DVI (in two different setups with two different monitors), and both are consistently not working. Both setups are using the Plugable UD-3900 with a late 2013 rMBP 13".

Not working comes in two forms for me: a) monitor recognized by OS but actual display doesn't light up, so there's a dead space that exists but can't be seen, or b) monitor isn't recognized at all.

Now that 10.11 is essentially "GM" and will be released in less than a week, can we get our hands on the 2.5 beta driver so any last minute bugs might be caught and ironed out before the new OS drops?

Default Works with OS X 10.11

I just upgraded to OS X 10.11 and my usb monitor works without a hitch! Its connected to my kensington usb 3.0 dock via HDMI and the dock is connected to my 2012 macbook pro. Of course I'm running the latest version (2.4) of display link driver

Mid-2011 MacBook Air
Official El Capitan 10.11: Official 2.4 DisplayLink driver:
Samsung SyncMaster 213T -> DVI-> DisplayLink->USB2.0

Displays fine, but Minimize iTunes causes user to logout
