Default mission control display messed up!

Hi there,

I was wondering if someone else had the same issue of the mission control not displaying properly (see attached screenshot)?

Any ideas on how to fix it?

Thanks!

Hi,

These are two different issues. Well, actually three.

There are two issues in mirror due to the fact that the OS is picking the wrong GPU to both render content and to decide what to put on the screen.
These issues were introduced in El Capitan and I'm confident we'll have a workaround for those in the next release.

The Mission Control issue is an older one, I'm not yet sure what triggers it but it's clearly an OS rendering issue: you can notice that the screen shot has the same issue, meaning that the corruption is what has been rendered.
I'm not aware of workarounds for this issue.

As you'd expect, we have bugs open with Apple about all these issues. You are welcome to increase the priority of these issues by logging them in bugreporter.apple.com

Best regards,
Carlo

I hate Apple's bug reporting system. It's so secretive. You never know if your bugs are being looked at, worked on, ignored, duplicated 1000x etc. You fart into the wind as thousands and thousands of bugreports go into the system but never get fixed or responded to. You spend time documenting and setting up repro scenarios hoping they will pay attention and then Apple closes your bugs because a new OS X release comes out and they are no longer fixing for "legacy releases". Or it gets marked as a duplicate (but you can't see the other bug report of course!!)

Such a shame, the Apple ecosystem has really taken a nosedive since El Cap. We miss you Steve.
