Default asus MB169B+ color calibration

Is there any way to change RGB of Asus MB169B+ that is connected through DisplayLink?
I tried creating color profiles, but setting them has no effect for the monitor...

Any hack to get rid of blue cast would be enough for me at this point. My other monitors are calibrated to 6500K and Asus MB169B+ is sooo different that eyes are having hard time to look into it...

Hello,

Sadly displaylink is not color correctible to my understanding of how the driver works.

I do find the display to be a little off myself. You can change the brightness.

Here is the link:

http://support.displaylink.com/knowl...control-via-sc

if that doesn't help then you may need to wait for someone from Displaylink to reply to this forum page.

May take a while due to the holiday's and what not.

Have a good one.

Best Regards,

These monitors can contain several colour look up tables.
However, the manufacturer may not have implemented it.

The new effort around colour correction in progress today is on the DL-3000 and DL-5000 series. this USB monitor uses the DL-4100, so work is not currently in progress for it.

Kind regards,
Alban

Hello Eric,

I have a new team assigned on implementing this new feature.
The first devices in-scope stay the ones powered by the DisplayLink DL-3000, DL-5000 and DL-6950 ASICs because it benefits most users and the DisplayLink DL-4100 series already has factory colour correction tables available to the product manufacturer.

I hope that the first wave will be achieved before the end of the year with the DL-4100 series fast following. I will have a better idea of delivery date when the new analysis has been performed.

Kind regards,
Alban
