We don't think we can fix this...we recommend to open a bug at bugreporter.apple.com to increase the priority of the issue.

Thanks Carlo. I have just done that. My bug ID is 23759487 in case you want to cross-link back to it as well. Please everyone, open a bug on this so it can be fixed! It has been a problem since Yosemite first came out which is a long time now.
