I don't have permission to read your attachment, but I also cannot get display to work in OS 10.14.5. We have only just have the kit installed, so I never tested it on 10.14.4 and cannot confirm that it was working and now it has stopped.

What we see in that the DisplayLink kernel extension is not running at all.

First, make sure you are running the latest version of 10.14.5 (not early betas) and have allowed the KEXT to run:

Also, as it seems you are using 5.1:
macOS 10.14.5 requires kernel extensions to be notarized. DisplayLink have notarized the drivers already while the O/S was still in dev beta preview, and released a 5.1.1 version that's available on the Downloads site.

See https://displaylink.org/forum/showthread.php?t=66574

Thanks
Michal

Default Macos 10.14.5 DisplayLink 5.1.40 doesn't work

The USB ports seems to work. But, Ethernet Adaptor and Monitors don't work. Attached is the Zip file from DisplayLink Support Tool.

Default The Mac thinks it's there...but it stays black...

So, on my MacBook at least, the DisplayLink extension is loaded, and the Mac *thinks* there's a display there, but the actual screen stays blank.

I've attached screenshots of the monitors control panel, as well as the extensions from System Information showing the kext is loaded, and the output of the support tool.

I can only give our exp.
I installed new 5.1.1 fresh on 10.14.5 and nothing - black screens. Extension authorisation blinked for a moment but I couldn't grant it no matter what (just OK that it is not allowed). Multiple reinstaleations ad visits in SysPref -> Sec&Priv settings didn't helped either. So I am left with mouse and keyboard working on DL.

Friend made progressive update to 10.14.5 on 5.1.1 that was working before and everything is still working as before.

I basically gave up and prefer to use now whiff and cable to one display instead on cable to rule them all.. (2 screens, network, mouse and keyboard).
