Problem installing DisplayLink drivers on Windows XP Embedded
Our company sell a driver recorder product that has Windows XP Service pack 3 Embedded installed. I am trying to install a USB touch screen device to this, but the hardware is not installing correctly.
I installed the drivers on the cd OK, and then a message appeared saying I needed the latest DisplayLink drivers. I downloaded 7.2 M1 and installed this with no problem. When I plug in the USB touch screen device, the installation starts, then I get dialog that says "The file 'DisplayLinkUsbIo.sys' on DisplayLink Display Adapter driver disk, is needed Type the path where the file is located and then click OK." Problem is I am unable to find this file. Also a google search is also unable to find this file. Any ideas what is wrong and how I can install my Touch screen deive |

Windows 7 Embedded
Does DisplayLink support Windows 7 Embedded or Windows 8 Embedded? If currently not, does it have intentions to support the OS versions in the nearest future?

I try with succes DisplayLink on Windows Embedded Standard 2009 (so with Sp3) and WES7.
I also try 7.1 and 7.2 without problems. |

Download from http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/...2-4e8ab2e4c9b5
and you get your missing driver. Works perfect with Windows XP embedded! Last edited by Rolf; 09-24-2013 at 02:30 PM. |
