Default Horizontal banding and restart issues

Hi,

I am afraid to reboot now. I've tried a bunch of different things to get it to reboot correctly including unplugging all USB and plugging in AFTER I've fully logged in and all the startup items have completed. This has had the most success.

I've found that I run into problems when I have the two display link adapters (from monoprice) connected and working and I put the lid down on the macbook, if it locks up and I just get blue screens across all the monitors, I run into reboot issues even with everything disconnected. After a couple reboots I get horizontal bands (see attached).

This pretty much sets a mode where it will never boot correctly unless I boot into safemode. At that point, I have to uninstall and reinstall the driver.

I'm running a brand spanking new mbp 2.66 i7 with 8gb ram. Hopefully a new release gets out soon. I hate spending an hour trying to resolve reboot problems.

Steve
