Win10, dual monitor, screen constantly flashes when using Displayport

Carbon X1 laptop with pro dock, windows 10, displaylink adaptor via USB port on dock.

When displayport interface is used on dock to attached monitor, with displaylink via usb on dock, after a couple of minutes screen will continually flash.

Does not appear to occur when attached monitor is connected directly to laptop with HDMI.

Have updated displaylink drivers, graphics drivers, and followed 'screen flashing' procedure...have now finally produced logs (attached).
