Default DisplayLink 1.4

Hello all.

MBA M1 / BigSur 11.4 / Dell D600 / 4k LU28R55 display - one native and one DL.

Just upgraded to DL 1.4. In my opinion, this is a more useful version than 1.3 and 1.3.1. The only thing missing is HiDPI over 1080p. But now there are no low resolutions (attached screenshot).

I am currently using 2560x1440 (low resolution). The fonts are blurry (than 1440 HiDPI) and this is not convenient at all, but better than 1080p HiDPI for me.

Also I found that the mouse cursor lags less (I compared HiDPI 1080p on DL 1.4 with the 1.3 DL versions. At the low 2560x1440p resolution cursor moving is almost native).

I also use hot corners to show the desktop and windows at low 2560x1440p disappear almost as native (I don't see a difference from the original 1440p HiDPI), but HiDPI 1080 skips more frames during this animation.

So... I'm waiting 1440p HiDPI resolution with same performance as native. All other is good for me (I don't use closed lid, rotation, etc)

Hope my review helps someone.

P.S. There is still a macOS bug where the dock won't connect after rebooting the Mac (It shows no USB devices. But I have an answer from Kate from DL support that this is an operating system bug and they can't solve it).
