Default Can't get second monitor to work

I have the following hub. 4URPC Monitor Docking Station Triple 4K for USB-C Windows MacBook Pro Laptops DS-C02. I have two 4k monitors, and a new M1 Max MacBook Pro with MacOS 12.2.1. When I plug the first monitor in via one of the HDMI ports, it works fine. But the when I connect the second monitor into the other HDMI port, second monitor isn't recognized by the Mac or Displaylink software. I have the Displaylink software version 1.6.1. And I have two Samsung U28D590 monitors. Any idea why this isn't working?

Try using version 1.5 of the software, available under the Legacy Releases page.

This sounds like the same problem I was having.

By the way, if you're using a M1 Max, you probably don't need a DisplayLink dock - just use a regular Thunderbolt 4 dock should work (and likely work better)
