There is one consistent thing I have to do in order for the monitors to work every time. My MacBook Pro has to be fully powered on and THEN I plug in the D6000 to the laptop. If I am plugged into the laptop before I boot up, the dock is not properly recognized and my monitors don't come on. When I power on and sign in first, then I get both external monitors and the macbook pro display, so I have full use of three screens. |
