Windows Explorer Errors and 5.5 Software
I own a DoubleSight U90 display and am trying to use Windows 7 64 bit with it. I receive Windows Explorer errors when opening the "Video" folder. I noticed other postings regarding this issue, but haven't seen a solution. Is one being worked on?

Is our software installed when you get the error message? What exactly does it say? Do you only get an error message when trying to open the "Video" folder?

Windows Explorer Errors and 5.5 Software
Yes, as a test I restored my system back to a point before I installed your software, and no error was received. I then installed your software and immediately received the error.
The on-screen error is "Windows Explorer has stopped responding", at which time Windows explorer is restarted by the OS. This happened every time I opened the "Video" folder which contained a set of mpg files. The only place I saw the error was when opening the "Video" folder - this folder by the way is the Windows 7 "My Videos" folder, but maps to D:\Video on my system. The event viewer reports the following. I've also attached the report file. 5.6 Beta
I installed 5.6 beta, and the problem appears to be fixed.

When you get a Windows error message, one possible reason is because your system registry is faulty. Have you tried running a registry cleaner on your computer? Maybe you have so many damaged or corrupted files that is why an error message keeps on showing up? Also, you may want to try running a disk defragmenter to defragment the fragmented files that may have also caused such error.
