Why is this taking so long??
The 1.8 driver was released on 2 Jul 2012. Its 25 of september now. Its almost been 3 MONTHS since I used my DisplayLink screens. As a programmer I can honestly say this is starting to cost me time and money. We need a new driver or at least a beta.

Missing Mac drivers for the 3xxx series is the only thing that held me back to buy an adapter.
USB3 is a major step forward for DL on a Mac. |

https://www.facebook.com/j5create?fref=ts The manufacturer of our device is looking at switching to the chips they use in the future because of the lack of support on from Displaylink on this. I think I can safely say that we would all be willing to accept a beta at this point just to be able to easily reboot our computers. I am only referring to version 1.8.1. The USB 3.0 support can wait, although your competitor has that working already as well. Last edited by cmwade77; 10-03-2012 at 08:42 PM. |
