DisplayLink and Horizon View issues

Good morning,

We've had multiple issues in our new Horizon view VDI environment, with clients that have DisplayLink software installed. Typically, the software is a bit older, but even on some of the newer versions we're seeing issues. The most recent one is there's a lag, when you hit the caps/num lock keys, the light on the keyboard doesn't register the change for around 5-10 seconds and is causing confusions for our users. We tried to update to 8.3, but it's leaving some of the other DisplayLink components behind, and doesn't resolve the issues. We came across the DisplayLink Installation clearer, and are hopeful, but it's only an .exe, and requires user intervention. Does anyone know if there's an MSI or a way to automate it?
