USB adapter light not on, projector not recognizing input

I just installed the update for 5.5 but it my display isn't working

The adapter light isn't on and the Display Link icon isn't showing up in the systray.

The program is showing up as running in the task manager, but the project says nothing is coming through.

I hooked the HDMI cable up directly to a notebook so I know the signal is working to that point.

It appears that the chip in the device is not booting up properly. Product ID = 0x8060 shows that it has booted from the bootrom (rather than the EEPROM). This means it will not enable any video outputs. Could you try unplugging all cables from the adapter, then connect USB and then connect the HDMI cable. This should resolve the problem you're seeing.
