Angry Drivers not installing.

Support please help.
I have been trying to reinstall my Displaylink drivers since visiting a site that had another USB video display.
I keep getting pointed to
http://displaylink.com/support/ticket.php?id=360
but neither of the two suggested options work. I have installed a thin2000usb video programme.
I have run the Displaylink compatibility checker.
one log states
# DisplayLink Compatibility Check ver. 7.7.57957.0 started on 2015.03.16-09:58:11
Critical ae7dbd00729f4ad9772f01bdb5c63967 "DisplayLink has detected USB graphics software installed from a different vendor. This software is not compatible with DisplayLink USB graphics software and must be uninstalled before DisplayLink software can be installed." http://www.displaylink.com/support/c...2f01bdb5c63967
This system is not compatible with diffingStoring a new value for LargeScreenBoostCapable: 0Store action - location 'Core', key 'LargeScreenBoostCapable', value '0'

I have searched the registry but cant find LargeScreenBoostCapable

I have also run the displaylink removal tool and CCleaner to clear out the registry but no luck.

The version I am trying to reinstall is DisplayLink_7.7M4

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

The service FLxHCIv has been detected.

Please see http://www.displaylink.com/support/ticket.php?id=360 for more information on how to remove this.

Thanks,
James

Default Already tried the two suggestions

Thanks for your reply James.
That is the same link I posted and had already tried both suggested fixes to remove FLxHCIv.
I have tried removing the programme it does not show in programs.
I have also run the sc delete FLxHCIv as admin it is not an installed service.
the installer is stopping on something I can't uninstall.

Thanks in advance.

Jon

Default Screen working but pop up still very annoying

I have got my display link working by using the
-ignoreCompatibility install via command prompt.
How do I stop the pop up on each restart? (attached)

Regards

Jon

Have you tried 'show hidden devices' in device manager and search for the device? You may be able to uninstall it there.

You should be able to find it if you search the registry, but I would advise using a tool such as devcon to remove it rather than hacking the registry directly if you can't do it from device manager.

Angry Hidden devices USB

It did not show as an Hidden device.
But had already I got the offending USB devise and plugged it in when it did show up I uninstalled previously.
I have used CCleaner to clean out any un needed registry entries.

I have manually searched the registry looking for LargeScreenBoostCapable but it is not listed.

I will try Devcon

I will report back.

"DisplayLink has detected USB graphics software installed from a different vendor. This software is not compatible with DisplayLink USB graphics software and must be uninstalled before DisplayLink software can be installed."

I'm experiencing the same issue. I've tried to run the 'sc delete FLxHCIv' command but I get "Specified Service doest not exists as an installed service". I've run the compatibility tool and attached the results below. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
