Hello,

I am putting DisplayLink Manager 1.3 on the website on Monday, adding HiDPI mode on 4K.
You can add your email on the right hand side to get an email when new releases are posted.

Kind regards,
Alban

Hi thanks for the update that is great news. Where do I add my email I am not sure where you are saying.

Also could you tell me if 2550x1440 will be available? It would be awesome if I could set the monitor to the same native resolution as an iMac. The other monitors of the same model support this over minidp.

Hello,
The Get Notifications on the right column of https://www.displaylink.com/downloads/macos
I'm afraid I don't know if 2560x1440 is a mode advertised by your display.
We don't manipulate what the monitor advertises supporting on macOS (= we don't add modes we infer the monitor could support).
Kind regards,
Alban

1.3 DOES NOT resolve hires problem with DisplayLink, it still offers only low resolution mode. Attached are screens of DL "supported" modes.

One is the default view of scaled options, second one with "Alt version" of all modes. For comparison third one is pure MacBook through direct HDMI.

I have just installed the long awaitened update to V1.3 with HiDPI support. However, HiDPI still does not work. Attached a screenshot of the same display natively connected and over displaylink.

Same report here, with an M1 Mac running display link 1.3 on a LG 4k just get the 1080 and 4k (2k is low res mode).
