Default Installation errors on Windows 7

Hi, I can't get my Plugable USB 3.0 docking station installed. I've followed the troubleshooting steps here and attached my error log zip.

I have used plugable with another laptop, same model W530 from Lenovo, so perhaps it's a device issue?

When I look in Device Manager, it says the Device Cannot Start. I've tried unplugging everything, different 3.0 ports.

Suggestions on how to fix this or did I get a lemon?

Thanks.

Hi,

Can you try installing the latest Intel USB 3.0 host controller driver for your laptop?

You can find it here:

Thanks,
James

Default Updated to USB 3.0 - Still not working

Hi, thanks for the reply and working to help me solve this issue, however I followed the link, updated, restarted, plugged in plugable device and it's still not working. I can send a screen shot of Device Manager if that helps. Thanks

Hi,

Can you check in device manager that version 1.0.8.251 of the Intel USB 3.0 Host Controller is present?

Also can you right click on the device that is failing to start, select properties select the details tab, select property = Hardware Ids and post the full string(s) that you see.

Thanks,
James

I have Intel USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller with version 1.08.251.

Differences between a Lenovo W530 that is working for my Lenovo W530 that isn't working:

* I don't have a DisplayLinkUI Sys-Tray Application Plugable UD-300 in Sys Tray
* I don't have USB Display Adapter for Plugable UD-3000
* I have USB Display Adapter for DisplayLink Display Adapter (4307) and it's started/working
* I have Network adapter for DisplayLink Network Adapter NCM #2 which is not started / working properly with "Device cannot start. (Code 10)" error. The Hardware ID is info is:

USB\VID_17E9&PID_4307&REV_0312&MI-05
USB\VID_17E9&PID_4307&MI_05

* I also have a printer connected via USB to the Pluggable 3000 and it is working. I can print from the laptop, but can't get the display to work.

Let me if there's other questions I can answer to get this working. Thanks
