Default Option to Run Purely on Battery?

I use a DisplayLink on my work's MacBook Pro (M1 Max, 2021). As an Apple junkie, it's known that the battery must be used in order to prolong its life expectancy.

Does anyone know if there is an option to temporarily disable the DisplayLink's ability to charge the battery while plugged in to the MacBook Pro? I need to let my laptop run off the battery while remaining connected to my external monitors.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

Hello,
Unfortunately this is not possible.
If you want to use the battery of your Macbook. The docking station which does not have a charging function can help you.
