I am looking for any information about how to output sound to a DisplayLink device such as the 700TSU with a C program. "Output" means to play a sound file or even something as simple as making it beep.

To answer my own stupid question: I have a Xenarc 700TSU. It contains some flavor of Displaylink circuit but that circuit does not provide the audio functionality of the product. The 700TSU has a separate analog connector for audio. I do not expect to be able to transfer any sound digitally through the USB interface.
