Default EVGA UV Plus 16 - Mac Max Resolution Different Than Windows

My adapter (EVGA UV Plus 16+) supports my Dell 2407 at its full 1920x1200 resolution in Windows 7/64 bit, so before anyone tells me I have the wrong adapter, please understand it works just fine in Windows... However, on my Mac Mini running any 10.6.x version (have tried 10.6.4 to 10.6.8), the max resolution I can get is 1600x1200 (1680x1050 is also listed). Why would that be? I like this adapter a lot, works flawlessly at the right resolution in Windows, why not on my Mac?

Default Do Any Developers Read the Forum?

Any way to get a reply quicker than a week? This question hasn't been replied to at all in that time.

Just wondering if I should just return this before my 30 days run out.

I am attaching output from the Debug Tool in case anyone views the thread...

This issue will be addressed right after 1.7. Unfortunately I don't have precise dates as Lion can still be a moving target in terms of compatibility.

Default Thanks But No Thanks

Returned the device for a refund. Not everyone can wait three weeks for an answer about why an advertised feature is not present in something they purchase for work.

I bought another USB display adapter, chipset not made by DisplayLink that supports Mac OSX just fine, full resolutions (same as their Windows driver).

DisplayLink should either (a) hire more help for delivering drivers on the platforms they advertise as fully supported or (b) don't make claims they cannot deliver on.

Good Luck.

I am having issues with my EVGA UV Plus 19 not working...all am getting is a black screen, and it looks as if the device is constantly restarting. Any help here? I tried to install the beta driver...Mac 1.7 beta 3...with no luck.

Could you please use the debug tool here http://www.displaylink.com/support/ticket.php?id=269 and post the output file? Thanks
