Default Screen keeps freezing

I have a Targus USB-C Universal Dual Video 4k docking station running version 1.1 of displaylink and all screens, including my laptop Macbook air randomly freeze.
easy to reset by unplugging the dock but very annoying.

Unhappy Same Issue - Displays Freezing

Mac Mini M1 (Sonoma 14.3)
Plugable Adapter w/DisplayLink (connected to Mac mini via USB-C)
DisplayLink Manager 1.6.1 (Build 59.135)
3x Benq 27" 2K Displays (2 connected through adapter)
Center Display directly connected to Mac Mini
Left/Right Displays connect via HDMI through adapter
Sonoma 14.3

Displays running through adapter started freezing right after MacOS update to 10.3.

When screen freezes, quitting DisplayLink Manager causes Mac "spinning beachball". Can't force quit from Apple Menu. Must open Activity Monitor to force quit. Relaunch of Displaylink Manager restarts displays but freeze again after a few minutes of use.

I'm having the same issue, screen freezes constantly when sharing on Zoom (and I think also Google Meet and Teams). Incredibly frustrating, I don't remember this happening with 1.10.0 or the Alpha releases prior to that.

This happens literally every single time, but it's impossible to predict when (might happen 4 mins into a meeting where I'm sharing, might happen 20 mins in).

I will follow the instructions to capture logs and enter a ticket, but I would say that this is a high priority issue since it basically makes DisplayLink unusable (and seems to be happening for a lot of users)

Default same issue while using google meet

Display link version 1.10.11 (build93)

Connected through DP

Dongle - GiGimundo Docking Station USB C, 10 em 1, Docking Station para MacBook Air/Pro com 2 * 4 K@60Hz HDMI e 2 * DP, Gigabit Ethernet, 3 x USB3.2, 100 W PD, porta áudio de 3,5 mm, Windows/L. inux LK100 12

Screen - Lenovo L28u-30 28" 4K UHD Gaming Monitor (IPS, 60Hz, 4ms, HDMI, DP, FreeSync, >99% sRGB, EyeSafe) Tilt Adjustment - Black

Mac M2, 24gb, Sonoma 14.4.1

What happens?
I am on Google meet and randomly one screen is frozen, and my video in google meet is frozen. This happens over and over, the intervals are not stable so it can be every 15 seconds for 5 times, and then everything is fine for an hour

The dongle is hot, so maybe that's the problem, but that happens when the dongle is not hot too

Please advise what to do🙌

Default same issue

Having the same issue since moving to MacOS Sonoma on an M1. It is quite random and it may happen from once every 10ish minutes to multiple times a minute.
Couldn't see any CPU peaks during this time.

Default Issue sill Present.

Hello @Daniel Sznicer

2 of my colleagues and I have the same issue and really need to fix this. I've attached the logs based on your 04/22/2024 post and emailed synnaptics with the logs.

- OS: MacBook Pro M2 - Sonoma 14.4.1
- Screens - 2x BENQ GW2785-B
- Both screens are HDMI <--> HDMI to Docking station
- Docking Station: Plugable USB-C Triple Monitor Docking Station, 60W Laptop Charging (UD-3900PDZ)
- Only 1 USB C cable connected from DS to Laptop
- Zoom: 6.0.2 (33403)

The issue happened once with video on Slack too.

Thanks and please let me know what you find.

Pluggable Dock.

After a long sleep when I wake up my MacBook Air M1 2020 it gets unusably slow, jerky mouse and DL icon top right corner gets a spinning wheel when hover the mouse cursor over it - unable to get into the DL's options anymore.

https://share.icloud.com/photos/048Q...5vr7tPwh3RkRDg

Absolutely no changes to configuration or software on my Mac and only upgraded the DL. It's happened already more than once and last time after 10-15 minutes the crashed DL managed to restart itself somehow and everything started to work fine after that so it's 100% DL's fault - some memory leak etc.

EDIT 22/03/204 - I wasn't able to wake my MBA at all yesterday morning and had to hard reboot it by holding the power button on.

MacBook Air M1 2020
macOS 14.3.1 (23D60)
DL drivers 1.10.1 (build 93)
