Default Displaylink no longer works for Sonoma

Hello,

I have updated my MacBook Pro M1 to Sonoma 14.1. Since then, DisplayLink no longer works and my LAN from the USB dock is also no longer recognized. How can I solve this problem?

Hello,

What is the DisplayLink powered product you are working with?

If possible, please collect and send us logfiles that will show us a bit more about your setup.
The insruction is in the last link in my signature (4th link).

You can attach the logfiles to your response here or send the file with brief problem description to technical-enquiries@synaptics.com for faster assistance.

Default Issue Report: DisplayLink Manager Version 1.10

Hardware Information:
- Dock: WavLink USB-C Dock 4K (Model: WL-UG69PD2 RV:1)
- DisplayLink Manager Version: 1.10
- MacBook Pro 2021 M1 Pro
- Operating System: macOS Sonoma 14.1

Description of the Issue:
I encountered an issue with DisplayLink Manager Version 1.10 on macOS Sonoma 14.1. When using my WavLink USB-C Dock 4K with a MacBook Pro M1 in clamshell mode, both external displays went to sleep, and I couldn't close the primary display. This problem does occur with DisplayLink Manager Version 1.9.0 in macOS Sonoma 14.1. I have not tested the issue with any of the 1.10 Alpha versions in mac Sonoma 14.1.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. I initially used DisplayLink Manager Version 1.10 Alpha 2 on macOS Sonoma 14.
2. I later updated to the release version of DisplayLink Manager 1.10 and then installed the release version of macOS 14.1 .
3. After the upgrade to macOS 14.1, the issue began to occur consistently.

Additional Information:
- The issue is related to not being able to use my external displays in clamshell mode.
- Reverting to DisplayLink Manager Version 1.9.0 resolved the problem, indicating that the issue is specific to Version 1.10 - not tested with 1.10 Alpha versions in macOS 14.1 - but I can test it if required.
- I have not tested the issue with any of the 1.10 Alpha versions on macOS 14.1.

I hope this information helps in diagnosing and resolving the issue. If you need any further details or if you would like me to test any specific scenarios, please let me know.
