Unhappy Problem Win10 + Dell MKS14 Dock - going on and off

Hello,

my DisplayLink is repeatedly disconnecting and reconnecting, and sometimes freezing. In the morning it does not work at all , I have to turn it on and off several times, until it starts to work.... and then it starts to connect and disconnect .
I've tried all these steps already: http://support.displaylink.com/knowl...from-repeatedl

Could you guys help me out?
Thanks in advance.

Thank you for contacting us. Your logs shows a lot of USB errors, which usually points to hardware problem with the device (USB hub to be precise).
Please contact Dell directly or the shop you have bought the device.
BR,
Kuba

Default Same issue here, Easy to blame hardware...

I was also sent down the rabbit hole of 'usb errors, must be a hardware issue' with DisplayLink support techs. Don't waste your time. I guess they find it easier than actually solving their win10/usb3 problems. This is being reported more and more and they keep saying the same thing, 'Your hardware is bad', or 'Try a new cable'. Laughable and Lazy.

In my case, the adapter works without freezing/disconnecting when I use the usb2 ports so I'm stuck with that until they actually own up to their win10/usb3 problems. Hey DisplayLink, Get your act together.

Default Usb 2.0

On my Notebook I don't have USB 2.0 port.
So I'm using and old USB 2.0 cable.

In the last 60 minute with this cable the problem seem to be resolved.

How delamitry told, the problem seems to be due win10 + usb3.
