Default Gigabit ethernet speed?

I finally got my Targus USB 3.0 docking station to work. But when i plug my network cable in the docking station and tries to transfer files, i only get a networks speed about 20 Mb/s. When i plug my cable directly into my laptop, i can get a network speed up to about 60 Mb/s?

It is possible that the Ethernet may not be as fast as your directly connected Ethernet port and we're looking at improving the driver performance in future releases.

I have dynadock. When I plug ethernet cable to the dock, the connection failed completely. With antoher Dynadock model, the speed was less than dial up.Can I get some solution for this please?

The Ethernet on the dock supports auto negotiation and full duplex. You can't fix the speed or connect it to a half duplex connection (eg don't connect it to a network hub, rather than a switch).

I suspect this is the issue, which is why you either get no connection or a slow connection.
