Angry Dell Inspiron 3593 contant freezes when connected to dock

Hopefully someone can help me.

I have a new Dell Inspiron 3593. Clean Windows 10 Home installation with all Windows Updates, Dell Updates, Drivers, Firmware, and DisplayLink software installed. Under Device Manager I have no unknown drivers.

I have a Startech Dual Monitor KVM Docking Station and a Kensington USB 3.0 SuperSpeed docking station. I have 2 monitors hooked up to my docking station. My Inspiron is constantly freezing on both monitors, keyboard and mouse. I've tried the Inspiron on both docking stations with the same results. Looking at the task manager, that is freezing as well. This only happens when docked.

I'm not sure what to do at this point. I've talked to startech and they have sent out a new docking station and the issue persists. I've even sent my laptop to Dell and they've checked it out and sent it back.

I've followed the following article with no luck - https://support.displaylink.com/know...from-repeatedl

Can someone please assist so I can actually utilize this laptop instead of trying to troubleshoot it? I tried a different laptop on both docks and it works just fine. So at this point I'm not sure what to look at or what to do.

Thank you,

Thumbs up Resolution

To help anyone else out that is having this type of problem, it was resolved by downloading a different Intel Display Driver.

https://downloadmirror.intel.com/292...0_100.7584.zip

and following these steps...

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us...s-drivers.html

After reboot, I have not had any issues and have so far had about 30 minutes of no freezing. By now I would have had about 50.

Thanks Rene from Support.
