Default Application windows resize on sleep and fill the dock attached monitor screen

Whenever my laptop goes into sleep mode attached to the DisplayLink docking station and later wakes up, all the application windows are resized many times over and fill the docking station attached monitor screen. I then need to resize each application back down to their original size. All applications seem to be affected.

I suppose the work around is to prevent Windows to sleep but there are many times I have not docked my laptop and it is charging and so turning off, or extending the period to sleep, reduces my laptop working time.

It is very annoying and I have put up with it for a time. But, I would like DisplayLink to fix this bug.

My setup is:
- DisplayLink docking station Targus DOCK180AUZ
- Laptop with Windows 10, 64-bit, Version 20H2, Build 19042.388
- Laptop screen 3840 x 2160 resolution and scaled at 225%
- Samsung monitor 2560 x 1440 resolution and scaled at 100%
Samsung monitor connected via DisplayLink and is main monitor
