Default Problem with Surface 3

Hi there.

I'm trying to use a HP EliteDisplay s140u with my Surface 3 (NOT PRO).

When i use it through a dock (DELL D1000) it works great.

The problem begins when I try to connect it directly through the USB 3.0 port on the device. I get the repeatedly disconnecting problem . It looks like I'm plugin and disconnecting it repeatedly

The main reason i bought it was having portable dual monitor setup.

Can someone help me?

Hello,
Thanks for including the logs.
I see our drivers cannot talk with the monitor because of communications issues. This is consistent with the USB up/down sound you are experiencing and this is not usually sign of a software issue, but a hardware one: our drivers have nothing to talk with if Windows doesn't see the device.
The difference is that your Dell D1000 has a powered USB hub.

Could you try using a/the Y-cable to power your monitor from two USB ports?
The USB port on your Surface may not be powerful enough to deliver the inrush current during the startup of the monitor. There should be a USB power port on the Surface power adapter for you to try.

Kind regards,
Alban
