Default DisplayLink Adapters + Docking stations

Hello everyone.

I was looking into options of connecting several screens to my laptop, I have search the internet, forums and reviews and learned how awesome DisplayLink technologies are!.

I decided to buy a docking station, after much research I found that the "Thosiba docking station U3" is the only one that supports 5.1 audio, but still it only supports 2 screens. I would like to know if it would be possible to connect extra "Display Link USB adapters" to my docking station and thus being able to connect 4 monitors to my laptop, i have seen that work with Targos dock, would it be possible with the thosiba one since they use the same DisplayLink chip?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Yes, you can add extra USB graphics adapters to your Toshiba U3 dock.

Thanks,
James
