mirroring option disabled after windows update

Hi, I have a Windows 7 6bit computer, with a display link adaptor to connect to my smartboard. Everything was working fine, until I performed all the windows updates (optional ones too).

Now, I have the issue where, when I right click on the displaylink icon (from the status bar, bottom right of the pc), the option to mirror is greyed out. I only seem to get the option to extend. I've tried uninstalling the drivers, and re-installing them, but it does not seem to make a difference.

Can someone help with this. At the moment my smartboard is redundant, if I am anyable to mirror.
