Help: Mac doesn’t start up after display link driver install
Hi all,
I try to get two external monitors working on my new MacBook Pro (13”, 2020, macOS Catalina). I purchased an i-etc docking station but the monitors didn’t work, so i-tec’s support advised me to install the latest display link driver, what I did. After restart the boot process stalled with the Apple logo and a completed progress bar. I tried to safe boot the Mac, which results in the same behavior (tried several times). Now I safe booted it with verbose setting, and even after almost an hour it’s not up yet. The messages I see don’t help to tackle the problem (WLAN “no per core RSSI to report”, many times). What can I do? How can I start the Mac without the driver? Thanks! Best wishes, Thomas. |

Have you tried rolling back the driver?
