Unhappy DisplayLink (5.0.1) and Mojave (10.14.3) Causing Constant Freezes

13 inch Touchbar MacBook Pro 2018 running Mojave 10.14.2 and 10.14.3, just tested out DisplayLink software 5.0.1 and the external monitors work perfectly fine.

However after a couple of days, it appears that DisplayLink User Agent become "not responding" while sucking up large CPU usage (also heats up the machine quite a bit). I then tried uninstalling the software using the tool that comes along with the installation, apparently the uninstalling messes up some drivers and my MBP would recognize the internal speaker for a few seconds then would be able to recognize the speaker for another few seconds, and remains in the back and forth loop while also causing constant system freeze.

Is there anything I could do to solve the issue? I only back up up till after installing the DisplayLink softwares. Is there a way I should follow to uninstall the software properly?

Thanks.
