No sound on 2 of my macbook pros
I have a 2011 macbook pro and a 2010 macbook pro with with lion and the other with snow leopard, I set everything up and I can get video, but no sound. I went to the settings and sound but there is no option to change the sound output, any help would be great as I paid a lot of cash for this, and can not return it since its past the return date, and as of now it's useless.

Posted earlier but since been pulled, trying to pass along again.
1: sys pref/sound/output/select "connected device". 2: Reboot 3: go back to sys pref/sound/output/ and WUSB audio/Video device may or may not show. If it does, select it, my audio came active. Good luck |

Thanks new2mac! That works!
To all, I've tried everything I read from the web before, but mine just work when I reboot my macbook pro while the sys pref->sound->output window is open and in the front. Not sure why it needs to be like that but it works for me! Also, the usb device is connected while Im rebooting. |
