I can no longer use my extra monitor, because of this. I have uninstalled and re-installed the software but the user agent crashes.

If the manufacturer of your DisplayLink-based product is unable to assist you, then I would suggest reporting the issue directly to DisplayLink by following the process outlined here --> https://support.displaylink.com/know...to-displaylink

I found that support link after I posted and submitted the asked for info. I contacted Cable Matters, but I am not hopeful (there is no firmware, etc, available for my device).
