Black Screen Issues
SO I've been poking around for a solution for the display issues I've been experiencing. It's similar to the one in this thread: http://www.displaylink.org/forum/sho...hlight=monitor
I'm getting a blank screen on my third monitor, but the device shows in the display settings and I can move window onto it, but I cannot get a display to appear. So far, I've tried all the steps in the help thread here http://www.displaylink.org/forum/showthread.php?t=896. I've also tried swapping all of the hardware around (spare cables and a spare USB adaptor), but the problem persists. I've also updated my graphics drivers and uninstalled and reinstall the display link software. I've ran the log files and attached them here if it's any help. I really would like to get this issue sorted out so I can use my third monitor. Edit: I realize this is posted in the wrong area but I don't see an option to delete is so I can move it. Hi,
Can you try the latest graphics driver: http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/quadr...driver-uk.html Also can you upgrade your USB 3.0 host controller driver the the latest: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Det...?DwnldID=21129 Let me know if you still have issues afterwards. Thanks, James |

Sorry for the delayed response, I was away for a few weeks. I updated to that version of the nvidea and USB drivers, but the issue persists. I ran through the troubleshooting again, and noticed there was a newer version of the nvidea driver posted, so I tried that as well, but no luck. I've attached some updated log files in case that provide any insight.

Hi,
The logs indicate a shortage of free space on your hard drive. If this is the case can you free up some space and try again? Thanks, James |

Hi there,
I'm pretty sure that can't be the case. I have 388 GBs of 465 free. Just the same, I reallocated some files and ran a disk cleanup. It's still not working however. Cheers, |

So I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything again, and still no luck. I see the part in the system details from the support files where it says I have 0 MB's free, which seems very strange since that is not the case. I'm honestly at a bit of a loss on what I could do to fix the issue. Any thoughts on why it would be reporting my available space as 0?
Thanks in advance, Rak |
