What does "optimize for video" really do?
When I right-click the "Nanovision MiMo" icon in my taskbar, I have several options, one of them being "Optimize for video". While I understand this is to smooth video playback, I'm curious to know what exactly it does.
Does it set CPU priority to a higher level to the application? This is with a MiMo 710 on Windows 7 X64 running the 5.5 drivers.

Hi
"Optimise for Video" lowers the video quality so there is less data to send. This means we can keep the framerate high, so your video playback looks smoother. The quality of the video will be slightly lower than watching it on the primary screen, but at least the framerate will be higher, which is more important when sitting back watching a film. Wim |

Great, that makes sense. I did notice that text will tend to look "blurry" as well when in video mode.
