Hello All,
I am seeking some assistance with installation of my AOC e1649Fwu on a Windows 7 Enterprise 64bit machine. I suspect the problem is that I plugged in the monitor before installing the driver package from the web as per the instructions (DLSetup_0705.exe), and windows failed to install a driver for it.
I have unplugged it, un-installed and re-installed the display link software multiple times and it still will not work.
To check that the monitor was working OK I installed successfully on a Windows 7 Enterprise 32bit machine, following the directions to install the software first, and this worked fine so I don't think I have a faulty unit.
Looking into device manager I can see the monitor there but if just cant seem to get the correct driver. Either manually from where the display link software installs its files (C:\Program Files (x86)\DisplayLink) or from asking Windows to find the driver automatically.
Can anyone please help?
Thanks in advance,
Mike.
