4.3 beta 5 all working.

Res is still stuck at 1080p but you can install a 3rd party tool to switch the res

DisplayLink - are you able to incorporate the above into DL?

DisplayLink Driver v.4.3 beta 5 on 10.14 Beta 1 is only in clone mode. No matter if AirPlay is active.

UPD: After reboot I have options to use one DisplayLink Monitor as extended Display and another as cloned display

macOS Mojave provides no miracle fix

Was hoping that the macOS Mojave would be the miracle fix but sadly No, Same problems still persist. I guess the upside is at least display link beta5 still works as a band aid.

Will those tools enable 1600x1200?
And rotation?

Great tip about the resolution ! I use a different tool ( https://github.com/Eun/DisableMonitor ) to set the resolution of my external screen, but 2560x1440 works great, while my macbook air has normal resolution.

I don't think any of the current solutions support rotation, unfortunately.

I thought the same, uninstall, reboot, reinstall. I had to do that to get beta 5 to work.

Mojave is still firmly in beta territory, and you can expect significant changes between now and the final release. Beta OS releases are never a magic bullet.

Update: June 6th
Dear DisplayLink macOS users,

Installing macOS 10.13.4, or newer, will cause DisplayLink connected displays to go blank after the OS update when using DisplayLink driver v4.1. Extended displays continue to work as expected in macOS 10.13.3 and below.
Functionality such as Ethernet and audio, where implemented, is unaffected.

DisplayLink driver v4.3 beta 5 currently provides an interim solution with one extended USB display (720p or 1080p) on macOS 10.13.4, 10.13.5 and 10.14 first developer preview, using Apple AirPlay® on machines with that feature. All additional DisplayLink screens will be cloning the primary display.
An FAQ details how to enable Apple AirPlay with DisplayLink display for extend or mirror mode.

Our team made solid progress towards finding a solution which would restore full extended display support for multiple DisplayLink displays in a future release of macOS. As daily users of the technology across the organisation, we truly understand how disruptive this loss of functionality affecting the full ecosystem is. However, we are still unable to provide a time-frame or a date for release of this solution today. We will provide an update on this thread as soon as we are able.

Thank you for your extended patience. We appreciate your feedback and support.

Kind regards,
Alban
