imation link detected as usb drive
I bought an imation link (LT1101) it worked very well on my previous MSI laptop running windows 7 32 bit. I recently changed my laptop to an Asus x401a with windows 7 64 bit so I installed the 6.3m1 driver, but was only able to transmit video but no sound. I uninstalled and deleted the wusb driver in the device manager and uninstalled the core driver package using remove programs window. Then I re-installed the drivers but after doing so the device was detected only as a usb drive. I checked your forums debugging procedure and found the software was installed correctly, the displaylink service is running but the usb display device does not appear in the device manager. I'd really appreciate any help.

I've finally got the driver 6.3m1 reinstalled. The video works perfectly and the device is detected as a wusb video/audio device. My issue now is the sound is not being sent. I set the wusb audio device as the default. When I test the wusb audio using its properties button, the sound bars move up and down showing sound is being sent to the device but no sound is coming out of the TV where the mother unit is plugged. Any helpful advice to get the sound working? Thanks in advance.

The sound chip in this device (or the wireless link) are not provided by DisplayLink. I would suggest contacting Imation for support with this.

Hey guys, I had this happen too. It was the port on my TV that was blown. I changed port and now have sound on the TV. Check it out, thankfully I have 3 ports.
