Hello,
Can I use multiple display link adapters to drive different monitors? We currently have a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon which contains a mini-displayport. The laptop contains an adapter which converts miniDP to DVI. I believe it is powered by a DisplayLink chipset. http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops...bon/#techspecs The user has a need for two monitors; we acquired a SABRENT USB 3.0 (USB-3HDM) adapter. Initially the adapter would not detect correctly until I uninstalled ALL displaylink drivers and installed the displaylink software that came on the Sabrent installation disc. This allowed the adapters to function individually; however if I connect both the other automatically disables and cannot be enabled. Is this how it is supposed to function? I was under the impression Displaylink would allow up to 6 devices. Thank you |

Hi,
The miniDP to DVI adapter is not a DisplayLink enabled product. Regarding the other issue, please post logs when this happens: http://www.displaylink.org/forum/showthread.php?t=896 Thanks, James |
