Default Brand new M4 Mac Mini

I have a usb switch/hub with 3 of the usb 3.0 to 2 hdmi adapters and 6 monitors.. It works fine with my win 11 laptop, but i cant get it to work with my new m4 mac mini. I can see that it is recognizing SMI USB Display in system information 3 times. But the displays never wake up. Appreciate any help

Try connecting the USB adapters to different USB ports on your Mac Mini. Sometimes, certain ports may have better compatibility.

You don't mention specifically the product you are using, but the mention of 'SMI USB Display' suggests the products you are using are based on Silicon Motion USB graphics technology. They are not based on DisplayLink technology, which means that DisplayLink will not be able to assist you.

I would suggest directly contacting the original manufacturer of the products you are using for support.

Unhappy MAC MINI not Compatible with DISPLAYLINK MINISOPURU ??

hi all, have been using the DISPLAYLINK MINISOPURU docking station very efficiently so far as follows:
- two SAMSUNG monitors plugged in the DP ports
- USB C cable plugged alternatively into either my work PC (no drivers needed) or my personal macbook pro (needed to download the drivers - all good)

PROBLEM SET: just got a MAC MINI M4 (brand new), downloaded the drivers -> after 30' of working ok, the MAC MINI started to crash every 2-3 mins;

TROUBLESHOOTING
I removed the DISPLAYLINK drivers and connected one of the two monitors directly into the MAC MINI and the crashing stopped

HELP PLEASE !
