One other thing:

Since the monitor is a TV it suffers from HDMI overscan... I can't change this in the settings of the monitor If i unplug my lcd monitor (the one that is connected via native hdmi) i can use fit to screen and thus solve this issue. The problem however is, that once I plug it in again everything is back to normal
I'd need a resolution of 1220x670 due to overscan. Is it possible to unlock fit to tv when I have the other monitor connected? What does this lcd have to do with the displaylink adapter?

Edit:

The issues got way better since I'm using a VGA-Cable.

1) The overscan is gone since now I use the PC-mode of the screen which disabled overscan

2) The image is a lot more stable. It looks crystal clear in the beginning, however after 5 mins (and not 15sec as before) I start getting artefacts, which keep ketting worse and worse. Unplugging the cable and inserting it right after doesn't help. I need to wait at least some minutes until I can repeat the process.

Any Ideas?

Come on, guys... What kind of support is this???
It's been weeks since I've uploaded the log files and I did not even get a "we're looking into this - nothing!!".

I'm afraid, if I have to wait much longer I'm gonna return the device and say bye bye to displaylink...

I'm not complain about support any more... It's a shame... Well anyway, if somebody is going to help me...

I tried the 8.1 preview drivers and they are behaving far worse than the 7.21 with mouse freezing fix.
7.21 mouse freezing gives me 5 minutes without distortions, 8.1 about 15 seconds...
Does that help?

Thanks

Hi,

Sorry for the delay in replying.

This sounds like an electrical fault with the adapter.

Do you get this issue with the other monitor in your setup?

If so please arrange for a replacement.

Thanks,
James

Hello and THANK YOU for replying!
So it seems that the log-files were okay after all?

Well, same thing happens with the other 27" monitor... Distortions after some minutes with 7.21 freezing fix.
But how can it be, that the old drivers can give me a clear image like 10 times longer? Doesn't that sound like a software-related issue?
