James,
I've changed to a different TV, different usb cable, different hdmi cable.. upgraded Intel USB 3.0 eXtensibleHost to 1.0.8.251 (latest) downgraded Intel HD4000 drivers to 9.17.10.2932 from 9.17.10.3071 (latest as of mid may) and finally I've got the monitor working in HDMI. not sure what did the trick... my guess is that Uninstalling Intel HD drivers did the trick. At least it cleared the persistence for Intel HD4000 multiple monitors (I was hooked up via HDMI miniport first). I'll let you know when I get around to swapping out the parst back again (piece by piece) That still leaves my wondering: why the Varidrive mounts TWO drives: 1 usable DVD drive and a completely useless CD ISO (UEFI mount drive) with install software. why the setup experience is still so immature/unprofessional that it takes me 4 evenings of tinkering to get it up and runniing. Going through the debug process, I do not see a Displaylink device under USB display adapters. I am attempting to use the VGA port, do not have HDMI capable monitor
Everything up to that point is good. The displaylink debug tool does not detect the adapter. My notebook has 3 USB3 ports and I've tried all 3 without success |

Hi,
Is the Varidrive detected if you connect to a USB 2.0 port on your notebook? Thanks, James |
